The day of Mt Kosciusko

The beautiful sunset eased the pain

Driving back into Jindabyne after a great day riding Mandy joked about the gazebo being blown away...minutes later the joke became realty with the wind twisting it in half

Pretty windy at the top

Justin finally gets to see and touch snow for the first time

We were not exactly prepared for snow! Justin in his cycling shoes and Mandy in her payless specials

Highest point possible to ride to in Australia, 2100m

Drive to Jindabyne

Drove to Orbost looking for a bike rack on the way to Marlo.  Unfortunately no luck. To Jindabyne it is.

Took the back way to Jindabyne via the Bonang Hwy and Snowy River Way. This sign was after we missed the 90km winey road sign

Definitely didn't expect the 90km winey to roads to be full of hair pin turns and soft edges with not railings. Avalon had his run on dirt roads on the trip so far.

Once we were out of the dense forest the country side was full of pine tree plantations.  We googled the Bombala region to find out it has a 20 year wood supply agreement with the NSW Government.

Arrived at Jindabyne to late to buy a bike rack so set a camp on the river and kicked back with a beer and wine and watched the sunset.

Mallacoota

We did a round trip through Croajingolong National Park and back to Mallacoota

Mallacoota sunset while Justin was fishing moments before getting the bad news call...

A bit too close to the wildlife with a massive moth invading our van. Justin to the rescue.

Mallacoota was a peaceful and picturesque fishing town full of wildlife. Stayed an extra day in the caravan park right on the water and had a great couple of days. Unfortunately our time at Mallacoota ended badly when Mandy had to put the call in to Justin fishing to tell him she had reversed with the bike rack down intern wedging under the car. Right as it went dark. After jacking the car up an hour later we got it out although the damage was beyond repair. There seemed to be steam coming out of Justin's ears and not much talking was done. At least the steam kept us warm during the night.

Soldier Crabs Merimbula Beach

Cheeky Kangaroo's at Pambula Beach

This kangaroo rubbed in the fact that it was a miserable and rainy day for Justin's 31st birthday by sticking out his tongue. At least the little fella gave us a dance.

Due to it pouring with rain, we entertained ourselves with the whole season of Entourage Season 3 as well as Mandy watching Hurricane for the first time.

Merimbula Headland whale show

Definitely didn't expect to see whales on the 19th of November....Our picnic entertainment really exceeded expectation. It was also probably the fastest Justin has run in a long time going back to camp to get his camera. Worth it though.

Narooma
Narooma where we saw the biggest stingray ever or could have been a manta ray.....whats the difference??

Batemans Bay

Lovely town and park situated right on the water except for our camp site being on the banks of a swamp......Hence a million and two mosquitos. Luckily we had invested in a gazebo in Goulbourn.
We went for some nice rides from Surf Beach into Batemans Bay and Moruya. Spoilt ourselves with some ciders and prawns. We also discovered that the prawns without poo trails are girls as they don't do those kinds of things.....

Fields around Boorowa

Definitely a place you wouldn't camp at night.....Not if your name is Mandy anyway.
